Brrr, getting chilly.

So it's about 18 degrees outside and I can't figure out how to layer my clothes without looking like a spaz.. not to mention I'm in the desert so its DRY. So dry that I'm having trouble with static shock... every doorknob, file cabinet, the car, my dog and even worse sweet kisses have turned into a "kiss my cheek first". I don't mean to be a wuss but it sends a shock like no other leaving me yelping every time. I've tried leaving a dryer sheet in my pocket, static spray and even grounding myself but with no success. HELP!

Stimpy is doing fine.. he's been a bit naughty but not more than average... We keep him outside with a cozy dog house, apparently he didn't like it because he clawed, bit and squirmed his way out, coming home to us with a disgusting smell from the canal down the road. We then tried to keep him inside but he ended up making a poo and pee on the carpet.. out he went again. So far he's been good outside, we had to totally block off one side but little did we know that the recent wind storm tore off about 15 feet of the fence and Stimp's been hanging out with the neighbor's dog.. not to mention it's a she.. Ad fixed the fence and we are left to watch him as he watches us leave the house... with his sad eyes.

For static, one word: Humidifier. They are cheap and will help with dry skin and house plants too.

As for layering: Pick up a few pairs of "Cuddle Duds." They are thin, thermal-like (but not scratchy or heavy) underoos that go well under clothes, and are about as un-spaz as you can get, in underoos.
