Here are some pics from Thanksgiving.
We had a tradidtional turkey dinner with a Pacific islander/asian fusion.
We had luau pig, walnut shrimp, fried lumpia with turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, mushroom stuffing, potato salad, fresh cranberry sauce, pies... lots of pies and so forth. We hosted about 10 people, all Ad's family. Everything turned out great.
It was neat because we buried the pig in the back yard and let it sit for about 4-5 hours. Ad's brother, Jason, stayed the night so they could get up early and start the fire, I was able to find banana leaves at the asian market and Jay rubbed the pig down with Hawaiian red salt.

Ad carving out the pig.

My turkey, it turned out wonderful.
Wish you could have had some mom.

Nice photos! If I ate meat, I totally be all over the piggy and gobbler. Good job! Everything looks really good.
