A little more time.
I finished with my last exam in Thursday and am relieved that school is finally out. I would have never taken two classes if I knew I was pregnant. It has been quite difficult. Not to mention, one of my classes is Typical/Atypical development. Ahh! I should be receiving my grades in a bit, I anticipate A's.. maybe a B in one of the classes. I will be taking another class next semester.

Starting this Spring!
Ok, so I'm registered and all ready to go. School starts on January 22, 2008 and I am not excited. Having to work full time and get my Masters is more stressful than I would like to experience but it will be done. I will be attending University of Nevada- Reno (unr.com) which is 15 minutes from my home and 5 minutes from my work. My Masters will be paid in full by a federal program, TSSET. I will have to purchase books and whatever fees come up. The deal, I have to commit 2 years for every year TSSET pays for my education back into teaching or working with children within the Special Education field. No biggy, it's what I want to do. I great part about it is because its federally funded, I can move anywhere in the US and work in the field! Yeah, not trapped in the desert.

Starting School..again.
So I was accepted into the Master's Program at University of Nevada-Reno for my Master's in Special Education- Early Childhood and I will start attending school in the Winter Semester. I have to say that I do not look forward to going back to school, it was difficult the first time and I somewhat feel forced to do it.
First off, I have to complete a set of 18 credits for my job endorsement and I figured another 20 credits will get me my Master's so I mind as well do it. Right? I was also accepted for a funding scholarship that will pay for all my classes minus books and fees.. the catch, for every year it takes me to finish, I have to give two years back into working in Special Education for the State. I want to finish quickly but that looks dim. I will be working full time and trying to have a child maybe by the end of the year. We are still thinking about it.
