Sorry it's been a while. Life has been keeping both Ad and I extremely busy. Since my last blog, a lot has happend. Yes, Ad and I did purchase the house and yes, it was a pain in the ass. Before we could close escrow, a new septic tank had to be placed in and a new roof.
Ad, his brothers and his friends insatlled the new tank themselves. This included all the excavation, filling and setting the tank.
Our new roof had issues too.. the roofer did a poor job and we were forced to with hold his check until he fixed it. On parts of out roof, he failed to lay down felt ( a water proof covering underneath the shingles) which was a must. Luckily, our neighbor, Rod, saw this and we were able to fix it. Thanks Rod.. .that bastard roofer!!
